Not related to the MR, the question is about the magic numbers in the rows: first_idx = 40010+40 last_idx = 40010+56

is the 400 the pulse number? In the latest measurements the the frames were much lower and varied.

Yes, this might cause issues then. We should come up with a more stable way of determining preview images.

I'll merge this for now. But we should discuss further improvements
